do you have a manual or electric bed? I had a manual bed and had to let some air out of the tires to get it in.if it has a stock cage it is about 4" taller then an after market.

I named ours "Crime Scene". The story behind that is, my old dodge would pump out deisel smut down the passenger side while underway. Once we'd get where we were going, I could see every handprint down the side of the camper where the wife and kids had touched it. It looked like CSI had been dusting for prints. that's funney!

Thanks for the replies guys, its all great info. One more question how steep are the grades on the 5 north or on the hwys in oregon either north or south im asking cause i dont like straining my truck and july will be hot.

Thanks for all this info guys, its alot of help! Does any one know or herd of the dunes being closed to quads or riding in general? Ive read on line posted by a large amount of people saying they where closed to riding, and its on the internet so it has to be true cause they cant put something on the internet unless its true:B LOL!!

We use our Nevada ATV safety cards while in Oregon. Good point, thanks for the correction.
thanks guys,I'll look into these camps, I had no idea about the safey course!
Last year the family camping next to me didn't know either, they got off with a warning but had to go into town, find WiFi and take the test then print out the cards, else they would have been ticketed. I always try to ride up to the Rangers/LEO's and talk with them, never been asked to show my card, just asked if we had it.
What are you riding?
WE just bought an 2013 polaris rzr 4,for my family of four, and figured it would be nice to go riding with it in oregon after all the great things we have herd about oregon dunes.

First Oregon Trip
So I am thinking of taking a trip in early july to the oregon dunes.I live in southern california and am looking for advice. This will be my very first trip that will be more than 200miles one way,its 880mile for me, any words of caution or
tips? also whats a good rv park with hookups and dune access? permits to ride on dunes? roads to avoid? I have an 05 cc lb 4x4 duramax and will be pulling a 32ft toyhauler if this helps,thanks guys.

I have an 8ft bed and love the extra space for firewood,kids bikes,fishing gear and a bunch of other stuff I throw back there,as for backing up its great not worring about the truck and trailer corners,I bought the slider hitch just in case I need to get in a realy tight area.

because if you wante to spend your time indoors with the ac on,you need not be looking at toyhaulers, with a toyhauler you'll most likely have toys with you to be used out doors. just my opinion.

another thing you can try is what i did when i was filling my old toyhauler, I would drive the rear wheels of my truck on to some 2x6 to lift the nose of the trailer because the way it was plumbed it would not allow the air to vent from the rear tank if sitting level. water inlet was on foward tank front bottom corner,equalizer went from rear corner of font tank to front lower corner of rear tank,both vents were on front top corner of both tanks. might help?

when you removed the equalizer tube did you look in both of the tanks opening to see if anything is clogging the fitting(inside the tanks) on either tank, could be that the cut out could somehow be still attached to the opening of the fitting.
