OK 69-75

We will be heading home Monday from Mission TX. We are wondering about 69-75 Hwy up through OK to hit 44. Anyone run this route? Condition of hwy, problems we should know about this route. We are headed up to MO and thinking of giving this route a try. Any tips on campgrounds or Wal Marts to stay over night in.
Any and all info would be appreciated.
TIA

Mission-McAllen Area Info

Is there anyone in this area that might know of any car shows or cruise nights in the area? I've seen several nice old 55-56 chevy's and wondered if they do a cruise night around here.
Thanks for any info, i've tried searching google but came up empty.

New RVer-coffee pot?

I'm looking at coffee pots for our MH. I've been looking at B&D under the counter ones. Does anyone have the B&D Thermal Coffeemaker
#SDC850. It's the black one with the steel pot. How do you like it, does the pot stay put when going down the road? Does it give you plenty of room to put the water in? Does it take long to make a pot of coffee? Thanks for any help you might give me.

RE: Misson TX

Thanks Larry Skip and Teachers pet for the info.
Skip you said you have stayed in several there. Any names of the parks you could share Skip. Things you liked about the parks. I'm sure we will look around different ones. Just thought maybe some here would be able to share names of ones they had stayed in and liked.
Thanks again,

Misson TX

First time out for us and i'm really excited! We have a 34 ft. motorhome in case that info is needed.
We will be headed for Mission TX. Anyone have any info they can share on nice RV parks they stay at in that area? Name of parks so I can check the web sites. I would appreciate any and all info that you could share. We don't want a really expensive park but middle of the line would be great. I have looked at a few sites but it always helps to ask those that have stayed in the parks.
Thanks for any info. This forum is full of great info!
