RE: Can you really leave your RV at Walmart while sightseeing?

I'm an overnighter at Walmart and really don't want to stay longer than that. I always inquire inside first before I try to stay for the night.

RE: Price for a DP Oil Change

TZScales...Speedco does not offer hydraulic fluid/filter changes nor do they offer leveling gear oil changes.
Think of Speedco as your routine maintenance for the parts of your coach that have common needs with a semi.
Dave
Thanks!!

RE: 1990 Foretravel Pusher

That's a great looking 1990 Foretravel. Once you have had the opportunity to inspect, it may not be a bad idea to have it looked at by a competent diesel mechanic specializing in CAT engines.

RE: SHAKEDOWN TRIP-NC- Guidance WELCOMED !

Enjoy your voyage and write down notes about the trip i.e. how the rig handles, performance of all appliances. Don't forget to perform a good pre-trip inspection to ensure all of the mechanicals are in operation. Have a safe trip above all!!!!

RE: Odd experience at camping world

I have an Atwood hot water heater and, as far as I know, it does not have an anode rod. What is providing protection from corrosion?
That's a great question. I also have an Atwood hot water heater and would like to know the answer.

RE: 2003 Monaco Dynasty fire

I'm really sorry to hear of your motorhome catching fire. Norcold recently had a recall on the burner unit. Was your refrigerator in that recall group?

RE: Anyone have buyers regret?

I was looking at Wanderlodges before purchasing my current coach; however, I do not have any regrets at all. All of these coaches are money pits and regardless of the marque, there are going to be some issues one way or the other.

I would pass. There are so many good used RVs out there. Take your time.

RE: Price for a DP Oil Change

Does Speedco change power steering/fan hydraulic fluid along with filters? What about changing leveling gear oil?

Spin Balancing versus Liquid or Powder Balancing

Are there any major differences? I am use to spin balancing for newly mounted tires but am not comfortable with either liquid or powder. What are your assessments? Thanks!

RE: Splendide washer shaking motorhome

You may want to take it in and have it diagnosed. It probably is something simple to correct. Your initial description of the violent shaking does not seem right.

Tire Locations in District of Columbia Metropolitan Area

I'm interested in replacing my steer tires only with new ones and am considering either Michelins, Continentals (mounted presently) or Goodyears. The tire size is 275/80R22.5. Do you know of any great or reputable establishments in this area? Thanks!!!!

RE: Brake Checks

I conduct a pre-trip inspection which includes an air brake test. There is no requirement to actually look under the motorhome and verify that the brakes are operating properly. However, this may prove to be beneficial if there is something suspect with the air brake system.

RE: Good News for Affinity

"Ventura-based Affinity Group, which faces nearly $700 million in debt payments in coming years, closed a deal for a new $144 million loan on March 3 to refinance debt due at the end of this month."
What does this mean for continuity?

RE: R V Road Service

Check your current policy closely and it may be worthwhile to contact the company to speak with a representative. Document your findings so that you will have an easy reference in case you need it. May I also suggest you look into other road assistance programs such as Good Sam and Coach-Net.
