WhoGot an owl in your pocket?
YOU, Joey. It's been years since the question was asked about when you were getting married, and you have spent those years putting off the answer and dodging the question.
I guess i'll have to get Chris to get on to you and get an answer..:bChris? Chris who?Your buddy, Chris, on the "other side"....heheheh

Oh, and the next person who calls him just a dumb animal or tries to make fun of your loss, kick their butts for me, too. They don't know what they are talking about and probably wouldn't cry for the loss of a real family member anyway.

RE: jcapps 5000 and counting

Sorry to hear that, Joey. I've been there myself, and it's just like, no matter what anyone says, losing a child. My cat, Spock, became just like my son. He would sit on my lap, sleep by my side in bed curled in my arms, and always had to make sure he was touching me no matter where I was in the house.
When he died, I cried for a few days. He was the child we never had. I still remember him today and miss him. Pictures don't do justice, but the memories will remain of our love for each other.
I grieve for you and your loss bro. I know he was loved by you, and you by him. You can tell in the pictures you've posted. The memories will not ever take his place, but they will be with you forever. And, those memories will comfort you every time you think of him.
I've always thought it was so unfair that animals like cats and dogs don't live as long as humans. And, I get mad every time someone says they are just some dumb animal. They are our children and they become closer to us than many of our partners.
RIP Turbo.

RE: Nascar - Talladega!

Oh, and as for watching it live in person compared to tv, I see much more race on tv and spend lots less money just sitting at home. Ticket prices are WAAAAAY to high. We use to go for $10/person, so that tells you the last race i've seen in person.

RE: Nascar - Talladega!

Watching some of the practice sessions, they say the track is really smooth and the bumps have been removed coming out of the tri-oval.
They also commented there are lots of lines that can be run - should be a good race.................I hope :hYeah, i've seen the track. It's really too smooth, if you ask me. It's like the smoothest road in the world. Glass like mostly. And, I think that will keep down some of the wrecks due to car problems with bumps making the race even faster straight out that ever.
The track is about 25 miles north of me. I've been around the track a couple times. Once in a personal car..when they use to let you. And, once in a Hotlaps program where I got to ride along for 3 laps. Fun, but too fast for my britches lol.

RE: How much is your electric bill monthly?

My home is a single story 2800 SqFT and this month's bill is probably the lowest it will be for the year at $78. The gas bill goes up as the electric goes down and vice versa, just not as high but a LOT lower. The summer electric bill will probably go to about $373 like last year ( gas down to about $17 ). But hey, it gets hot here and we run the 2 A/Cs! :B
FrankBut it's a dry heat :b
