RE: seattle area RV Park Help

Assuming you are coming in thru Bremerton and Tacoma an option would be to stay at Rainier View RV park in Graham. From there it is about 1 hr to Paradise at Rainier and the Same to Downtown Seattle. Nothing closer that I would suggest. You're not that far from catching HWY 18 then I-90 on the way out.
Map it out on Google Earth.

Desert's Edge RV Village is a mile or so North on 17 and will serve you fine, thank you.
PS: you can always go to google earth (zero in on the area of choice)and type in rv parks or truck stops, what every and look!

RE: Storing 26" trailer in Seattle area for 4-5 days.

Unless Seattle is a must, I would go to Sequim and stay and leave it at the Clallam Bay county park and take the Port Angeles ferry. Lots to see and do.

RE: Dalton Haul Road

Yes you can, in fact we did it in mid-winter 1996. I would suggest that as long as you get that far up, continue on to Coldfoot for a real experience. If you don't use Google Earth you need to.
Enjoy!!!

Daniwould, if Danicould, but Danican't.
Danican bring lots of hype and it's all about the $$$$$$$ that NASCAR desperately need.

RE: Kill a Royal Pionsiana tree???

Muratic Acid injected or poured directly into the root systems. It does not have the odor or flamability of gas or diesel. Great brush/tree killer that stays in the root system. Not enviromentally friendly but that was not the question.

RE: Who knows about "Friction" space heaters ?

Many variations of the concept go back to patents issued from 1869 and go forward. Just because a product has been patented or Pat Pending does not endorse it's performance. A simple ceramic, oil, or resistance coil heater is what millions of people use.

RE: Lance Armstrong versus the USADA

Ok, I will re-phrase: Just because he was able to beat the system that was in place at the time does not mean he was perfectly clean. He did not win alone. He had a team of riders who put him in position to accumulate enough points to get the titles. They were able to use the system.

RE: Do you love your job?

A point to ponder....It is the task that is served, not the master.
I liked most of my jobs but only one I actually looked forward to jumping out of bed for. Was a research technician in nuclear physics at Lawrence Radiation Lab At U. C. Berkeley. I designed equipment for grad students doing their doctorate thesis projects.
Had a couple good jobs with bad managers, but on the whole it was a good go. Because it is the task that is served, not the master.

RE: Mesa, AZ. Where to Stay?

Usury mountain is a Maricopa County park.
Lost Dutchman is the state park
Both are very nice.
Meridian RV Resort is RV only, no park models.
