RE: New Cougar High Country

Did you get any pricing to know if it will be less than the 293 sab , i was set on the 293 sab but was worried about the pin weight for my 09 2500hd gas truck so it sounds like that would be the better choice for me.

pulling fifth wheel

I have a 2009 chevy silverado 2500hd (gas) and am thinking about buying a 2010 keystone cougar 293 sab and i am curious if anyone thinks i am trying to pull to much with my truck .If i goto the chevy website the gcvw is 16000lb but it mentions something about trailer pulling and sais 13000lb not including truck weight , i am confused . ok here is more info my code off of window sticker is cc20743 , that goes with 10000 lb. i weigh 200, wife 150, 2 kids 140 . if i am correct the GVW is 9200lb , truck weighs 5650+490(us)+220(gas)+400(hitch)+1750(5er pin weight)=8510.GCVWR is 16000lb , i think i will be a little over but everyone sais i will be ok . Also i am not looking at speeding down the highway and i live on the east coast where there isnt that mutch hilly terraine. crap truck is crew cab short box . airrade intake , bullydog gt gas tuner.
