RE: Towing Numbers Headache....:(

I tow a Rockwood 8296ss with a Gvwr of 7625. I tow with Nissan Titan cc it tows great but wouldn't want to go any bigger.
Not disputing your statement, but it does make me curious and want to understand why you came to that conclusion. Are you talking about weight or length? Both? If you did go bigger, in whatever way you say you wouldn't want to, what are you expecting to change with your towing experience?
The reason I ask is because I tow with the same truck but a trailer that's 2 feet longer and has a GVWR 2000lb more and think it, too, tows great, WAY better that I ever thought it would...but I really "can't" go any bigger in terms of gross weights even if I wanted to. The Titan really has no shortage of power, which I'm sure you know, it's the dang 1/2-ton weights that kill it. :)
To the OP, I'd seek out fellow F-150 owners and ask them how their experience has been towing a trailer and what weight they tow. I can't really compare my Titan to an F-150 in terms of towing experience in order to tell you what to expect, all I can do is share what basic formula I used in order to find a trailer that fit our limits and needs/wants.Yahooligan, I wouldn't want anymore weight, I know the Titan will pull it and wouldn't have any trouble doing it, that's just what i'm happy with, as far as length goes that's no big deal my tv is about the same as most 3/4 tons and 1 tons as you well know.

RE: VR1

I had a 1500 dodge ram hemi and as far as pulling the vr1 great. The milage is why i now have 2500 cummins> the hemi got 9 and 10 and my cummins 14 to 15 at 75 mph.I wouldn't want to be on the same road either, mine will pull it at that speed but not safely, I usually stay around 60mph i'm not running any races.:B

RE: Extra Create-A-Breeze Fan

We have a Rockwood sig ultralite also it is model 8296ss, we have the fan in the bathroom, it is a pretty powerful unit, if your bedroom is next to the bathroom I wouldn't think you would need another.

RE: Help Needed in transporting a pet.

I could do the last leg from the Denver metro to Evergreen if needed. PM me if I can help out!
-Lab
Thanks, Lab, I've got that covered. I'm the one who's getting Diamond, and I can cover anything within about 7 hours of Evergreen. Thanks to all those who have expressed interest and concern and thanks for all help offered. Richard (Dixie Flyer) and I and, of course, Diamond really appreciate it. Not to hijack the post but if you couldn't take her for some reason I sure would. She would get along great with My Golden and Border Collie, and I just live in Tennessee. I wish I could help in getting her to you.

RE: $11,000 gets me a duramax ally in my 01 suburban !!

Why don't you just look for a used one and trade the one you have I wouldn't spend 11 grand on a engine and trans swap, I'm sure you would come out cheaper in the long run.
