got the paper work on th wiring? take each one off the wall and look for a loose wire or one touching . like the wise man before stated think back a little , he sure gave good advice .sit back think this one out a bit.got a outside recpt thank might be wet?

might try loosening the leaking fiting , then re tighten, if you can put a backup wrench on it so you can snug it tight.

RE: tips for getting gas line loose from hot water heater
try TIGHTENING IT FIRST. sometimes it helps break the seal . they do make speical wrenchs for gas lines . its a box wrench with a slot in it.
