I-5 to Hwy 101 Mt shasta area

I want to go from Mt shasta to cresent city area in mid may.I am towing 37 ft fifth wheel. any ideas on the best route? not in any hurry being slow is ok beats working

I purchased the 3400 RLSA in Sept came down to it or the couger. I liked both units the attitude of the sales and service depts was the reason for the ElkRidge it has been great so far had it out 4 time going out 1st week of Feb.

50 AMP power cable

Are there any problems using 30 amp service to my 5th wheel? the areas i go only have 30 amp service. I dont need the ac at the coast or in mountains. And that 50 amp cable is a pain to roll up.

I am also new to a fiver i asked almost the same question about a month ago. Pay attention to what you read here everytime i get on here i learn something.very very important not to get distracted when hooking or unhooking the unit from the truck

I just went from an 18 ft travel trailer to a 37 ft fifth wheel. when you posotion yourself to back into a space what is the best posotion to start from in relation to pasanger side curb and when to start to make your turn into the space?

I agree with smkettner on nine mile canyon.I must confess i havent towed my fifth wheel up it I did climb it on my bicycle towing my burley bike trailer with 30lbs of camping gear at a snail pace of 2.9 mph but i did pass a overheated truck and trailer

to much to tow?

Thank you everyone for all the info on weight, i have an 09 f-250 sd diesel i am looking at the couger 318sabw gvwr with hitch about 12,000 lbs approx 2,400 lbs of pin weight. this appears to be within the limits of the truck?
