I came home early today and hit the roof again. I got 5 more rows up. Looks like rain tomorrow so I picked up a big tarp and covered the remainder so I can get the plywood to stay somewhat dry. I'll get another pic tomorrow, it was too dark tonight to snap one.

It sure is fun following your project!
I can really relate after all the work I went through rebuilding my old TT.

Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming!

It doesn't look like theres much of a leak in the loft area. The left rear corner is where the worst leak is. I'll know more this weekend. I'm also thinking about building a RV shelter/carport

What size of legs are you using? 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8 and what is the roof pitch? looks like a 6/12 pitch from here. and what is the HxLxW? sorry for the ??? but I need to build me one.

They are just 4x4s. I'm planning on adding 4 more in-between them once the roof is done. Yeah, it's 6/12. The trusses were 9/12 but I didn't want to be walking around on that so I redid them. They came from the other side of the mountains where there is a lot more snow to think about. The wall size is 12x28 but the roof is right at 30 long and around 16 wide. I figure the over hang will be my friend in the wetter weather.

Thanks, I'm going to use 4x4's and I say a 6/12 pitch with 1ft over hang. I'm thinking about going 18' wide & 22' long. Now all I need is money, time & help.
thanks again and good luck on getting it done.

The rain finally let up a little today and I was able to get 8 more rows up!!

Sure is tough working outside now. You want to let it warm up a little, so you can't run right outside first thing, you'll freeze! Then it finally gets the chill off, you head out and get busy, and before you know it, it starts getting dark on ya...

Your right about trying to get started first thing in the morning, but the problem here is not the cold, its the dew, hate working with wet stuff.
The roof is looking good. Like many others I have been following the MH rebuild, I do admire your determination on the project.
We have an 1983, 25' Marathon, Ford E350. There is a post on the issues that I have found, the worst being the leaks in cabover. The framing under the fiberglass that sets on the cab, the bottom plywood has swollen twice the original thickness and black rot,not sure what shape the frame around the window. Was your cabover framing 2x2's with plywood on both sides? I think that is what mine is. I'm thinking about redoing the bed, to where there will be a piece of plywood that will be hinged to go into the cut out, instead of having the sliding bed.
Hang in there, God Bless, Dan
