Also, don't forget about crossing from one State to another. Some have Ag stops at their border and confiscate things like meat and certain veggies.

I don't have a list, and don't even know if putting together a list is possible, as what they allow and what they confiscate seems to change frequently.

Your best bet is to ask. Maybe someone who has crossed the same border recently will be able to tell you what to expect.

I have not been asked for meat yet. During the mad cow era I heard of meat being asked for in Baja. Different states different fruits and veggies. Usually all citrus.

If you are heading for the Yucatan, passing from Tabasco to Campeche, there is an agricultural inspection along the main highways. It is prohibited to carry chicken, eggs and pork.
Beef, fish and veggies are OK.
