Well we decided to take the 4 cats for the last camping trip of the year and we went to the same place, same site for 2 nites. Well let me tell you they loved it. Peanut didnt get upset while travelling. They went outside on their leads on Sunday and had a ball. Peanut explored every where like a dog does. TJ wasnt even nervous when he went out and he is so shy. Marble went for a walk like always and Mama stayed in her "hut" like she always does when she goes out here.
For the 2 days they seemed to have a great time watching out all the windows as the dogs, birds etc.
Marble even cuddled with us and went to sleep at nite. She usually stays besde but bedded down in between us with her little head on dads arm and went sound asleep.
I swear TJ knew where we were the minute we pulled into the campground.
They were amazing to take camping and I cant wait until next year.

Sounds like everyone had a great time! We`re taking all 4 of ours to Wisconsin today. It will be the kittens second trip but first long one, KitKat has been to Florida twice so he`ll be fine but Simon has never traveled so that should be interesting. I hope our trip goes as well as yours

You are brave. So far we have only brought 3 at once. Maybe we'll get brave and try four! The others get babysat at home.

We took one cat with us from east Texas to Georgia in May. She did real well. Jumped out once without being on her lead and got scared. She camped herself on the front axle. We got her to come out with some of her canned food. Otherwise, she stayed inside loving all the windows. She was upset when dad was outside feed some geese and didn't know what to do when see saw some deer in the camp site in Alabama.

She and I may runaway from home together and leave the husband home with the other 3 cats.

Our pair are seasoned travellers. Maggie has been to Florida 5 times and Monty has been 3. Combined with frequent car trips to our lakeside trailer and other places, they adapt quickly. In the car coming back from the trailer Maggie seems to know about 10 minutes from home.
We have a class C and the loft over the cab is their dedicated place. But one of them is often found in the copilots lap and the other on the floor between the seats where it's warm.
Last winter Maggie strained an ALC tendon and started limping. We bought a set of steps at the pet store so that she could climb to the loft more easily. Lots of difficulty persuading her to go that route.
