From time to time someone mentions that they wave at other RVs, but seldom get a return wave. Believe me, it's not because everyone is rude or stuck up. I will wave now that I drive a very stable motorhome, but for the first 20 years, my motorhomes were not stable enough for me to comfortably take one hand off the steering wheel.

You may be driving a better handling rig or you might be a better driver. Coming in the other direction, I doubt you could have seen my white knuckles.

I wave sometimes. Depending on driving conditions. Due to sun reflections, I find it difficult to see the driver in some RV's. I am sure they have the same problem seeing me.

I wave back but sometimes they are just too far past to see.

In our part of the world there are so many rigs of all kinds. If we see one that is closely similiar to ours, we will wave. Hopefully, they will too!

I'm from New York. When I travel on the Thruway, some wave, but it is only with a small part of the back of their hand

They really need to get to where they are going fast so they can relax

When I leave my house and drive down the road, I wave at my neighbors.

When on a rural road many folks wave, get used to it.

When we hook up the 5er and go, I wave at all vehicles who look like they might be an RV.

If you are going for a "white knuckle ride", IMO you shouldn't be on the road.
