I use a 3/4" 75 ft garden hose. Just stick the end down the drain a foot or so and put a brick or rock or let the hinged cap or whatever is available to hold the hose and let her rip. never had a problem.

Smell is not an issue as the hose is only there for a few minutes. If you want to leave the hose attached to the sewer, get the appropriate size cap for the sewer and cut a hole in it to put in a garden hose adapter, pipe thread on one end to screw into the cap and garden hose thread on the other end.

Thanks to all for you responses and suggestions. I think that I will use Gunship's idea or buy an adapter from Sewer Solution or cleandump.com (great website).

My current coach is the third one I have owned with the Sani-Con system (same pump as the Flo-Jet) All three have cautioned against using hoses less than 1" dia, as they will reduce the life of the pump because of excessive back pressure. It seems strange that the discharge hole in the sewer adapter is a standard hose diameter of 3/4", but I mention this caveat FWIW.

A good hardware store should have a brass nipple with a 1 inch barb on one end and 3/4 NPT male threads on the other end. I tapped a blank cap to accept the nipple. I also use it on my blue boy when it is in the back of the toad. Saves lifting it. Just have to tilt it.

Depending on the chemical you use, everything might not pass through a 1 inch nipple. Some chemicals liquify better than others. Some do not at all.

I still have 100ft of 1 inch hose I use occasionally when dumping at home. Actually need every inch of it. More often it is less than 25ft of 3/4inch while on the road. I do recommend running 15-20 seconds of gray water first before emptying the black water, to wet the hose, and to verify your connections at both ends are leak free. BTDT!
I have one adapter with two feet of hose attached to my home sewer cleanout. A lawn ornament covers it when not in use. I have one stored with the macerator and a third I will give you if we ever meet on the road and the subject comes up.
I made each from a 4inch PVC-dwvCLEANOUT PLUG. (CHARLOTTE #106) I drilled a hold just large enough to accept a PVC garden hose adapter pushed up from the inside. Sorry, all its identifying information is sealed but it was in the same section at Home Depot. JB welded/glued the gaps inside between the plug and the adapter. The fourth item was a PVC sch40 3/4 cap, more for its sturdiness than anything else. (LASCO D2466) Any garden hose cap would work.
Good Luck.

I have used 50 feet of regular garden hose [5/8"] to dump my MH and TT black water tanks through a 12 volt maserator pump. This same hose has worked just fine for years. I just hook it up and run it down my garage [sanitary] floor drain. Just grab your garden hose and give it a try. Nothing to loose.

Boy has Camping world made major changes to their website.. Not all of 'em work right either (Path took me astray)

Camping world link

One of the adapters shown here plus a "Yummy Sewer Ring" which will be nearby (The seal washer) should do the job

Or you can take a few adapter.. One is 3" Outside thread PVC to 1 1/2 inch inside

The next is 1 1/2 inch outside (Fitting in the first) to 3/4 inch inside thread

Finally you screw a garden hose fitting into that (NOTE: you may be able to find even better adapters) and if needed shove this into the sewer ring for a slip fit (you can adapt it to other sizes as needed if you have a screw in fiting.
