It's bitter/sweet. We're gonna miss her, but the writing was on the wall for us. Bottom line...we need the money we had tied up into the Pup.
I sold it for $1000 less than what I bought it for 3 years ago. I've put about $1000 of maintenance/repairs/supplies into it in that time, and another $1000 or so in storage fees...
So, basically, we "rented it" for $1K per year...
Not bad, and some good memories were made.
I just wanted to thank all the folks here that have helped me out with advice/insight/commaraderie over the years. I don't post as much as I once did these days, but still "lurk" around and chime in when I think I can help.
Enjoy your pups, and I'll see you all "out there." (We'll be the folks in the tent, looking wistfully at your rigs!)

To Bad. Well you had 3 good years. Storage can be high although I pay but $25 a month for 9 months then camp the other 3 for a total cost of 1,025 a year. don't know a better bargain than that for a 3 month vacation.
Hope thing improve & you can get back into it. Good Luck!

Give it a few months, you may be back. Sold my Hemlock, took 6 months, now I have a cherokee. I knew it would happen when I saw that family drive away my baby. Sort of overpowered the satisfaction I had for what I sold it for, $500 less than purchased after 3 years.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, the writing was on the wall for us anyway. We've actually talked about selling it for the last year or so.
I've come to the conclusion that we really need to own a house, if we're gonna have any kind of RV. One needs the space to do maintenance, and cleaning, and packing/unpacking, and readying for a trip...
We live in a condo, and even when we had it at an RV storage place, there was many limits to what we could do there. (No power, no water hookups, and not much space to work, packed between other RV's.)
N-joy your rigs!
C-ya out there...
