All three (Foretravel, Newmar and Monaco) are nice coaches. This is just my opinion, but I would want four slides. If there are just 3, then I would want two of them in the living room.

Four slides really opens up the coach, especially, if you have guests over for drinks and dinner. The living room could get real crowded with just one slide in that area.

I was really impressed with Foretravels website.

Let us know what you decide!

MM.

Now is definately the time to look for a two or three year old Prevost. None of the three you mentioned come close to Prevost quality gor the buck spent.

And Prevost doesn't come close to the quality and workmanship of a Newell.

Newell quality is very good and comparable to Prevost except.
Repair facilities are limited,Prevost repair all over the North America,Newell is not a bus designed for 1M miles ,newer Newells are far over weight (28,000 lb drive axle), Prevost resale value is far superior.

You are right! Newells are designed for two million miles.
Prevost are Canadian built, that is why you are favoring Prevost, but in reality you know that Newell is a superior coach to a Prevost. Prevost are nothing but a bus shell, while Newell is a pure luxury custom made to order.

You may have a 200 gallon fuel tank but the Nimbus does not; it's up to 150 depending on length.

I'm also glad you like your air leveling system; the King Aire has both air leveling and jacks.

I'm not knocking ForeTravel at all - not even a little. All I was saying is feature for feature the King Aire has more "stuff", and some of that stuff is pretty desireable.

A Foretravel is a totally custom unit. If you want 200 gallons you can have it or if you want 200 gallons of water to boondock at the track you can have it. You can design your Foretravel with the engineer and determine where things fit and weight distribution. I do not think they are even making a stock coach. Every coach on the line is presold. They use the presidet of the company or VPs coach as the demo coaches. At the FMCA last year the President sold his coach to another Foretravel owner right at the rally. He did not want to wait for another one to be built.

If it was my money (and sadly not), I would have to say the KingAire -- despite my affection for Foretravel quality and service.

Even though we own an 04 Foretravel, if my budget is $500k I would consider different options. I would look at previously owned Newell or Prevost units; Greatriver gave you an excellent reason to look at Newell. Bumper-to-bumper 2yr. warranty is incredible! You are, and will have problems with the coach & it WILL cost you out of your pocket. The warranty will reduce/eliminate that cost for the 1st 2 yrs.
Sincerely,
Reese Cantrell
