I just got my camper from the dealer then drove an hour to the winter storage. Before I left it, for some reason I decide to check the tanks. They aint empty!

What kind of winterizing is that? Did they put something in the black and grey or did they not dump them?

I have had the HTT for 4 years now and don't recall checking in the past.

I'll call the dealer Monday morning.

thanks

You sure the sensor isn't stuck? How full is it, 1/3?

Feezing liquid in the tank isn't a huge worry as there is lots of room.

I had the sensors working great in September after some major flushing.
Today when I parked it and saw those readings I decide to open the grey a bit, sure enough some water came out. I know for sure when I brought it to the dealer they grey was totally empty.

I think there was a reading on the fresh too. I was in a big rush, so I'll have to go back next weekend and check.

They charged me $19 to dump so when I pull the valve that should have been bone dry.

If they pumped antifreeze through your water lines there would HAVE to be some sent down the sink, tubs and toilet so the tanks would have some liquid in them. Tanks should NEVER be stored completely empty anyway because any remaining solids will turn to stone and be next to impossible to remove.

Standard RV tank sensors are notorious for false readings. The tanks may indeed be empty with just a slight bit of water in them. The ice trays in your refrigerator freeze daily without harm because the water can expand. Works the same way in your camper tankage. A slight amount of water in there can freeze harmlessly. Not so in the closed confines of your pipes and valves.
