There is a new "The Best of Red Skelton" that was made in 2009 playing on KOCE whatever the heck that is
In any case, it is probably one of the funniest compilations of him I have seen in a long time. Don't miss it if you get the chance to see it.
One hour long

On a scale of 1 to 10, definitely a 10.

Oh, I'd like to see that! I miss him a lot. The man could make you laugh until your sides hurt and then he'd make you cry. I have the sweetest letter that I got from Red, back when his son died of leukemia and I had written my condolences. I was a child, myself, at the time. We will not see another like him.

Looks like KOCE is PBS in San Diego and running the show again on Nov 12th @10:00 PM. Maybe we can catch it on some other PBS stations around the country.

I just emailed our local Oregon PBS station to see if they have any plans of airing this program. You can bet I will program my DVR to record his show. I have some VCR tapes of some of Red's great shows ans when my son was about 8 years old he put the tape into the VCR and his laughing was hysterical. a great tribute to Red and his great works. By the way Admin, thanks for the heads up on this show. Thanks

Red Skelton was a class act. They just don't make 'em like that any more. Our kids watched both him and Victor Borge while growing up and had a blast.

He was not only funny, but inspiring. I wanted to be like him . . .

Do kids have role models like that today??

Some of Red's best stuff was when he didn't say a word. Freddie the Freeloader comes to mind. His Christmas skit could make you laugh and cry. When he did use words, they weren't filthy. Foul mouthed humor is the crutch of the un-funny. I sure miss him.

I just did a Satellite search and found it playing on Friday (11/06) at 10:00pm. This is on WJCT, a Jacksonville, FL station.

Red Skelton was truly "One of a kind". He is SO sadly missed!

Made the filty mouthed flakes of today very embarrasing to watch and worse to listen to. Sick puppies!
