I do not usually agree with Bags, but his analysis of yesterdays contest is quite valid. He did not say that they were always better than Florida, Alabama or Texas, he said that YESTERDAY they could have beaten anybody.

Yesterday, the Ducks, dismantled a machine, piece by piece. Starting with the USC loss to the Huskies and subsequent games I knew the machine wasn't quite right, little did I realize it was a train wreck waiting to be derailed. I am a long time Trojan fan, I can recall some bad losses, but a thrashing like this...LORDY!

The Ducks did look awesome. You have to wonder though if it was their offense or the poor SC defense. SC missed a great many tackles as well as applying next to no pressure on the quarterback. Mazoli was free to do pretty much whatever he wanted. I don't think that would have happened against AL or FL. Even lowly Notre Dame scored 27 on SC.

I was at a game yesterday where "my" team won. UTC came from behind and won against Western Carolina. I was not sure if it was North-West or South-West Carolina, but either way, they went home with a loss to UTC. UTC was down by as much as 13 points, but came back and won it. We had a good time there listening & watching our DD#1 play in the band. Since it was Halloween, the band dressed up in various characters, so it was easy to spot our DD#1 in the band (the only girl dressed up as a boy who looks like a girl and is a great ninja). We met my Dad there and we all dinner with my DD#1 after the game. Despite the small amount of rain, a great time was had by all.

Hey Bags, my Nittany Lions better be awake for four quarters Saturday when your Bucks come to town. I hope the Lions can decide to play a complete game. Either way it will be a good game.
Oregon / USC I never expected quite that outcome. I did expect something a little closer. My brother-in-law must have been pretty upset. He went and played for USC.
Rose Bowl (Oregon vs Iowa)? Maybe, but Oregon will crush the Hawkeyes as long as the Hawks don't bring their own officials. The calls in the game against Indiana were a joke. I never seen anything that pathetic.
Somebody's Wolverines. OUCH
Florida sure did rule.
Alabama has not quite convinced me yet. The offense comes and goes lately.
Texas COULD be a threat for the No. 1 spot.
Another game I found entertaining was MIA-FL vs Wake Forest. That was a good contest.
I'm surprised my TV channel changer even works today.
