alright where is pine mtn campground. I have stayed at river plantation and smokey bear but not pine mountain. Now two of you are going to be there. what is so special about it.

I'm not staying there for Thanksgiving but I'll respond. Its new and very very clean. Its near Dollywood in Pigeon Forge and I think there are other campgrounds but Pine Mountain is nice. There is a nice pool and you have use of the pools at the hotel across the street too one is inside and heated. It also has a heated small lazy river to float in.

I've "heard" of the rv.net stickers, but have never seen any..It would be nice to be able to display one...guess I could get one made on my own.

Happy Camper, we'll be at Creekwood also, site 8, I think, but look for the convertible. Unless it's pouring, the top will be down. We love Creekwood, the owners are wonderful, & it makes a great base for driving the mountain roads. It's especially convenient for us over Thanksgiving, because it's close enough to Mom's for dinner with the family. Enjoy the holiday & hope to see you there.

You used to be able to bring one up from the Rving FAQ thread so that could run them off on your printer and stick it your window or run one off and take it in to Kinko's or somewhere like it,and have a decal made..I have one for the Excursion and one in the backwindow of the trailer.Several years ago, they had them made up for forum members, but ran out ina REALLY big hurry and havn't done any since. It's really neat having one when you're out camping and get to meet someone else from the forum..That is,unless you've just flamed them online lately.

Jon,
last part of that is funny, you meet up with someone and introduce yourself to them, (seeing as how you saw the rv.net sticker on their vehicle) only to find out, y'all "don't really" agree on anything on these forums...got to admit...it might be a bit awkward..makes me think that when I post, I need to keep a certain civility and try to be nice, you know, apply the Golden Rule..never know when you might run into someone you may have "flamed". good post....

I'd like to see an rv.net sticker AND the persons user name with it, that way, you just might be able to avoid the above situation
