I was afraid you'd ask. The trailer is in the barn for the winter and unless I drop by the RV store for something I won't know. Non scented liquid. Probably $10 pint but only takes a couple cap fulls for the tank. Not one of the Walmart products.

I was going to ask the same question - which enzyme? Gotta admit, we do like the Odorlos as opposed to the blue stuff.

I do remember our boating days and you're right about the "pump out" - 2 or 3 times a season on Lake Erie was all it got. Of course some Friday evenings when we walked in, it made our eyes water, but just added some more blue stuff, lol. Don't even mention Lake Erie to DH - makes him get all sad. He/we do miss our boat. The MS River is no where close to being the same as Lake Erie! There's no Put-in-Bay!

My parents have a Class A that they paid well over $390K for. The tank sensors suck in it. Go figure.
My best tank sensor is my calculation of days , any odor? , flashlight shining down a hole? and being patient.
The battery sensor is the most hilarious. When my smartcharger was fried, it still said 3 red lights.

Great the answer to my black tank problem. My sensors in the tank always seem to be off. I'm definately going to have to install the Horst Miracle Probes. Thanks for the tip!

Once I figured out how to get the old sensors out it was a simple matter of repeating the procedure seven more times. I did one tank at a time so I could refer to the wire colors, but also wrote them on the bottom of the trailer. This was an on-my-back under the trailer job.

You need that thin open end wrench. 3/8". Grind or file the flats to about 0.10" so it can hold the bottom nut while you remove the top nut holding the wires. Both nuts come off to punch the sensors into the tank if you use that method.

You may have a cheap, sheet metal 3/8" wrench somewhere in your junk tool box. I had several sizes other than that size so bought ground the cheapest wrench I could find at the hardware store. They're really not used to requests for cheap tools.

I used my Levelair bags at their highest inflation to elevate the drains on the waste tanks so any small residual liquid in there wouldn't run out of the bottom sensor hole. I used the same method when I changed the black tank valve a couple of seasons ago.
