OK, I sold my Roo 19ft,and will be getting a 21ss,can any of you tell me if a 26in tv will fit on that entertainment shelf or if I need to go with a 22in. I guess it needs to sit on that shelf cause I dont see where you could mount it.
I have another question, will the built in dvd player play dvd+r or dvd+rw (movies I have burned)

Thanks

Does your proposed trailer have the Concertone or some other entertainment system? The thing about most ANY DVD player is they'll usually play DVD-R or DVD-RW only if they're manufactured since the DVD was formatted. Old units sometimes have problems playing newer format discs.

If I'm not mistaken, the true 2010 edition of the 21SS Roo has the entertainment center as you call it above the cabinet between the forward bed and the door. That being the case, you could put a 26" in there but the screen would be hanging out , although the stand would fit. Now if you wanted to do a wall permanent mount, it would be tricky because you couldn't swivel one that big very far to the cabin area itself as it would be in the front doorway and could be a hassle. I think you'd find it safer and simpler to do a 19 or 20, my opinion there.

As far as burned DVDs, I burn movies to DVD+R (don't tell the FBI) and the Concertone will play some but not many and the quality isn't great on the concertone (in my 09 23SS anyway) What we did was we did a permanent wall swivel mount right below the shelf intended for the tv and then made a cabinet out of the tv shelf itself above where we hooked up an up-convert DVD player /blue ray and assorted other tech toys. Since not all dvd players do play the burned copies correctly, I was a little obnoxious and took a couple with me to try before I selected the up-convert and blue ray unit and made sure it played them because we have a LOT of them. The concertone that came with the Roo plays maybe 10% of the DVD+ burns but not with any good amount of clarity or consistency (for us anyway.)

hope that helps you- and sorry if I am wrong about the cabinet instead of shelf on the 2010 21SS, I based that on seeing one a camper nearby us had not long ago. That's what they had anyway. And they had a 19" digital tv on OEM stand but we laid out a plan for them to understand how to mount the wall mount and add a shelf (inverted Ubox style) under to put the dvplayer and such that they wanted.

Congratulations by the way on getting a new Roo. Best wishes with it.

Hello there Struckrk, wonder if I'll run into you all at Fort Wilderness, we go down (from Indiana) for 10-15 days every 2 years usually. My parents (retired) spend one or 2 months early early spring as well. Anyway, my real comment was do you have that new curved bathroom door thing on your 2010? Just curious and if you do what you feel about it? Thanks!

We ordered it from rvwholesalers and wont have it for a couple of weeks yet,but from the pics,It doesnt show the bathroom door being curved, then again it says its not the actual camper on the pics.Ft. Wilderness is great, but you cant have a campfire on your site, our favorite place is Lake Kissimmee State Park because the sites are so nice and woodsy and private,if we are looking for swimming pools and activities, then we go to River Ranch, which is amazing.
