old guy wrote: I'll go one more for you, there are people out there that use the stool but do not put the used toilet paper in the toilet, but use a waste basket with a lid on it for the toilet paper, now that stinks in my way of thinking!!!!!! and down right disgusting. You've never been to Mexico have you? Lots of places there don't allow you to throw TP down the toilet as their septic system won't take it.

I did not spend the money to have the privilege of using someone else's dirty facilities.

It depends on the campground facilities. If we have FHU, of course we used our (MH)facilities; if only W/E, then I use the campground showers, and leave the MH shower for the DW. If camping in Oregon SP, we sometimes used their shower facilities for their excellent water pressure, hot showers and clean stalls. And it's free, not unlike in WA that you pay.

Can't for the life of me understand why someone would not want to use the conveniences of their own rv if it is set up to do so, i.e. with hook-ups and all.

If you ever go to Twin Lakes RV Park in Cumming GA you better plan on the ones in your RV. They don't have a bath house and only accept self contained RVs. All the sites are full hookups. We stay there often. It is probably the most reasonable place in Metro Atlanta,.
