I will be driving my pickup but will NOT be pulling my camper. What route would you recommend? If I go across the Hoover Dam, is there typically a delay? Any suggestions would be appreciated. West to if think 93 that goes north and across Hoover Dam. There is usually no wait to cross the dam. I looked at there website last week, and the arches are connected across. If you have not taken a tour of the dam they have reopened more of the dam. It is worth your time. After you cross the dam look at going through the park arround Lake Mead and through the Valley of Fire. It will come out north of town. We drove around the dam the last time and drove out to the dam in our toad to see the bridge.
