Is there any product we can put in our toilet in our class c to keep the stuff from sticking ? Beside the chemicals to break down the stuff and deodorize is there any thing else we need for the septic system. Chemicals for receptors? They are merely holding tanks that store the waste until you find a place to empty it and no enzyme action is going on. Just keep the system clean and make sure plumbing is in good shape and odors shouldn't be a problem. One of the BEST things you can do for your black tank is use LOTS (thats L O T S) or water when flushing, don't dump the tank until it's 2/3 full or more. I'd also suggest that you dump some water softner (Calgon) in the tank too. I helps to keep things from sticking to the side walls, or so I've been told. As mentioned, water is the main thing. You want to fill the tank about 1/4 full after you've dumped it.....so that there is plenty of water in there to start. If you mean what can you do to keep the "stuff" from sticking to the walls of the toilet, I have read on this forum that some use wax (auto) to polish the toilet walls to make them slick. I have not tried this but it makes sense. I think I read this in the thread on modifications (about 115 pages as I recall). We really need a "sticky" for this topic (sorry I couldn't help myself). Reduces paper and other "stuff" sticking to the bowl. I don't think other posters said anything about NOT opening the black valve until ready to dump, though a couple kind of hinted at it. It's probably a plastic toilet so do NOT use abrasive cleaners. They'll scratch the surface and make things more likely to stick.
