No RV does, they have dual pane windows, Thermopane is a trademark of a stick house window company.

Well put.
Install Maxxair covers on all of your roof vents. Your condensation issues will be solved.

I agree and you don't need a dehumidifier since the warmer air in the trailer will rise and flow out of the vents taking the moisture with it. You can open or crack a window, but the high humidity warmer air above the window opening will still be there and that's why venting via the roof vents is the best solution. Without venting the high humidity warmer air the water will condense out onto any cooler surfaces in colder weather, especially with that many people in a TT. You may get some minor condensation on things like the windows, but not everywhere like you experienced.

If your ac has the heatstrip turn it on along with the vent fans and it will help remove the moisture. I have used this method several times when we had 4 or 5 people inside on those cool rainey days.

I got a mini-dehumidifier HERE. Pulls a lot of water. BTW this out fit specializes in mini appliances...might find something else of interest too

Thanks for the tips everyone. I think I may start a new thread asking what is the best roof vent to get. Maxxair has several designs and some with fans...

You had many issues going that contributed greatly to your moisture problem:
1. Using propane heat. That adds moisture to the air as a biprouct of combustion.
2. Five people. As the exhale, they add moisture.
3. Temperature differential between inside and outside.
4. Very high humid air outside.
5. Cooking and showering.
6. No ventilation. All those activities just kept adding humidity into the air until it was almost raining inside the RV!

The Maxxair covers over the roof vents will allow you to open the vents in the rain. However, with a light mist in the air, the incoming air will already be very humid, so this will not help much.

Using electric heaters instead of propane will help considerably.

Turning on your airconditioner will dry the air out very fast, as it is after all a giant dehumidifier.

Tell you what...do a search on this topic...and see what others have said and done, to deal with the moisture.

Hey:

Condensation is VERY COMMON!

We probably don't think about it, but in reality, it's sort of why everyone has those Maxxair things.

A couple of folks breathing on a cold night are enough for our camper. But add to it stuff like taking a shower, cooking (even the burning of LP generates water), and if you get wet shoes, socks or clothes in the rain, get ready.

I see that a lot of folks love their dehumidifiers, but for me, I'll just open my air vents- and it pretty much solves the problem.
