We've made a reservation for January 1st for two months, but we have never been there. I'd like all comments and thoughts about the place from anyone that has stayed there. This is our first year snowbirding, and I want to make sure we have a good camping experience if possible.

Thanks

I have been past it and it looks nice but have never stayed there. I know people who have and they liked it.
We used to spend a couple of months every winter down the road (27) in Clerbrook.
We decided we liked the west coast better but enjoyed Lake County while we were there.

Mostly park models and very close sites. Lots of activities but as I said the sites are small and very close.

Depends on what you're looking for. From the road it didn't appeal to us. We spent last winter in Mt. Dora at Woods-N-Waters Trails. We enjoyed it, but I doubt if they have any openings this late in the season.

You might want to look at Olde Mll Streamalso. It's in Umatilla which is a little north of all the busy city life, yet still close enough to all the action.

We have been to that park but did not stay, very busy and had small rv lots and tons of park models. Traffic in and out was busy. The draw is the access to the lake I think.

stayed there for 3 days just last week.Sites are not large but okay.Lots of activites (softball leagues for both men & women, vollyball, tennis, crafts, small pitch/putt golf, fishing with access to Harris lake and others, plus many other things to do).It also has a restraunt that serves breakfast and lunch for very reasonable prices. We liked the large dog park to take our goldens.Although we had already made reservations for this winter at a different park we will stop there on our way home in March to get a better feel for possibly staying there for the winter next year.We stayed there in a 27ft motorhome.
