I purchased my 1996 Dodge Pleasureway Motorhome 5yrs ago with 32,500 miles and the shocks were weak so i replaced all four with one ton van shocks and after putting additional 60,000 miles on the new shocks it was time again to replace the shocks so i put on Monroe Reflex shocks designed for TOP HEAVY RV USAGE, and it sure made a great difference. It now handles like a sports car on curves and will not lean a lot on cornering. Bob

Yeah, I've never owned a vehicle where the OEM shocks really did the trick. My Sprinter used to bounce all over going up my driveway, but Konis all around solved that.

I looked on the Monroe site and they describe the Reflex as a replacement for the Sensatrak, which is not really a super duty shock at all. When I searched (for Chevy), they came up with a totally different series, and I didn't see any reference to "top heavy RV usage". Am I missing something? Also remember that shocks will damp out rapid movements of a particular wheel, like bumps or wind sway, but on a steady state force, like cornering, they will go to same amount of lean as no shock at all (extreme example), unless they have helper springs or a big time gas charge in them.

Booster "If you type in shocksandstruts.com" and then click, monroe reflex, and then click, truck shock absorbers, it will say "For all vehicles especially those with high centers of gravity such as mini-vans, suvs and light trucks". I agree with you that it did not say anything about rvs, but it did say high centers of gravity so the main purpose of my message is to help our fellow "B" friends that has High center of gravity and tossing and swaying problems on corners and curves to check out these great shocks.
