Here is a photo showing the A/C unit lower then it should be

I also tore out the old cabinets today and of course found some more wood that need to be replaced. Tomorrow I will finish removing the sink and cabinet to see how bad the floor is.

It don't look like it's going to be hard to fix

It's not...a friend and I did pretty much the same thing with a 1977 Dodge Coachmen. It's all pretty basic. I'd rewire while it's apart!

A 4:1 bleach solution (4oz bleach in 16oz water) works wonders dealing with mold.

Well today I finished tearing out the sink & stove cabinet

I found a little rotted wood under the old cabinet and the plywood that covered the tire sheeting.

So far the floor looks good, but I'm going to remove the closet, the bath, the seats in the rear and the carpet. You never know where rot will be hiding.

This looks like the start of another interesting rebuild thread.

I have to admire your, "Lets Get it Done Attitude" !!. Keep the photos of you progress coming, and Be carefull. No matter what stage you are at, ripping & tearing or assembly. Keep you mind ahead of the process. Wear a dust mask.

And don't drop roof vent fans on your head. They're heavier than you think.

I will let you figure out for yourself where this knowledge comes from. And yep, you're probably right.

I srongly suggest cutting out that gray polybutylene water piping (leak prone,50% falure rate), and replacing it with pex tubing, while you have it accessible.

In that shot where you can see the filler neck, replace the rubber vent line while you can get to it easily. On our previous Dodge that was leaking and you can only imagine where that raw gasoline would go when fueling.

Take pictures of the framework from various angles BEFORE you take it apart. Will come in handy later on.
