They get easier as you go along. Thanks for sharing. I visited Yosemite back in June 2005, wasn't impressed, and never planned on going back. Don't know whether it was the crowds, the change in pace from the uncrowded Kings Canyon, or what. However, trip reports like this and others have shown I need to go back during an "off season" to give it a second chance.
