Are you kidding me? We're at the www.pbrnow.comPBR National Finals in LasVegas and they have the 2010 Fords here and I glanced at the sticker. $62K for a Single wheel F350?? Who in heck is paying that? No wonder they're showing a profit if there's people paying that..... They say the 2011 will be $75K+....

Sorry, just had to rant a little.....

Just remember no one pays sticker price. However, I agree the sticker shock would obviate me from ever buying.

Wingnusa I agree with you! I saw a new Ford PU on display at Sam's Club with a $60K something price tag. I just about soiled myself when I saw the price. I'm not in the market but I wouldn't even give it a second look if I was .. heck, I didn't give it a second look anyway!

Didn't you guys get the Ford Frequent Loyal Buyer Customer Appreciation Coupon in the Mail?

I got mine yesterday, "Buy one new 2011 Ford Diesel Scorpion Powered SuperDuty Truck and Get One Free!"

Exclusions apply. No other offers or discounts apply. Free SuperDuty will be the lessor priced of the two trucks purchased. This offer is null and void if read completely in its entirety and or read aloud to a barrister of his Majesty's legal; counsel as defined under British common law as ascertained as of January 14th, 1768.

You could probably negotiate a close deal on an MDT for the price of a 2011 F-350.

Meanwhile, at SEMA, Ford is showing a Ford Raptor (F-150 class) truck that will sticker at $99,950.

Now we know how they posted a $1 Billion dollar profit last quarter.

I was at my local Ford dealer and they had a "Platinum" edition F150 that was over $60,000 - more than a F150 King Ranch edition. I didn't know they King Ranch in anything other then F350 (or larger), and I thought King Ranch was supposed to be the fanciest model?

There are always going to be those models that way out there, that is what makes car shows interesting!

dealer near me had a f350 srw crew cab short bed diesel Harley edition for $61k, i was told if i wanted it they could take $8k off the sticker.

I also looked at a dodge laramie 3500 that was $59k and they werent willing to budge much on the price. It seem like since the truck stock is low now they are trying to get the most for them.

I still walked away, just too much for a truck in my eyes. A week later i found my truck on a lot in a near by state. It was a used 08 with 19k miles and clean records, they were asking $36k i paid $31k.

What the sticker states and what you can potentially pay are two different things.

Are there still people out there that think window sticker is the actual selling price? Doubt many vehicles would be sold if that were true. Ford is not the only one with high sticker prices, I just looked at a new Dodge 1500 that stickered for over $50,000, a Chevy 3500 DRW Duramax for $61,000(and it had "simulated" chrome wheels!).
