DW and I both got the Snuggie "As seen on TV" for those cold nights while in the motor home. I use mine all the time, her internal thermostat is set such that unless you can see your breath it is too hot!!!
Both retired. Travel with Nicky the Schnoodle. Son graduated and is teaching high school math. We notice he still prefers to use our checkbook! We still love our 2006 34' Allegro Bay XB and have 25,000+ miles on her.

My Granny sits a lot in a recliner. She has a condition where her hands get cold and it causes her pain. I thought because it has long sleeves it might keep her warmer without having to wear gloves. I hear the Slanket is much nicer than the Snuggie with a thicker fabric and is longer. Anyone ever compare them? It's more expensive too. I hear it was the original. Does anyone know if their is any truth to this?

I hate static cling and I am prone to it. I read that the Slankets had less static.

Looks like a big Monks Robe, only you put it on backwards.
Maybe they're come out with an electric version for the really cold blooded folks.

Sure do love mine. Also love my electric throw = smaller than a blanket = just right for a recliner. Got my snuggie on now. My only issue is that the sleeves are WAY to long for me. Thinking about getting a couple of the Pet Snuggies for the dogs = we have a couple of old dogs that are cold natured.

Heard some bad reviews about the quality of the snuggie fabric and the cost of the slanket. Think I am going to make it myself this year.
