I'm running Norton 360 version 3.0 with Vista and my Live update refuses to work. So far even Norton can't make it work. A computer tech that I know tells me it's probably all because of Vista, which will be gone in the near future.

Like another poster already noted, be sure to download the Norton Removal Tool and run to get rid of all remnants of any Norton Antivirus program. I switched, just recently, to Microsoft's new, free antivirus program - Microsoft Security Essentials and am very pleased with it.

Jayco54,
Now you know Billy's real plan ..................................... everybody has to have "7"
Also watch you product updates for XP and Vista now because there are allot of updates out there that are not listed as "important" they are listed as "optional". Optional generally just slows down your machine and sooner or later you will have an excuse for getting ................................ "7" LOL

Dumped Norton several years back. Instantly cleaned it out of two new laptops I bought. I have been using a tool called ESET for the past couple years and have never had a breach of security.
