We may need to top up the fuel to get us to Junction City Oregon after we cross the border and a quick spot to park and sleep along I-5. Any ideas.
We are in a 45 ft. coach plus tow vehicle.
Sold the house, time to see the world.

Blaine to Portland is only about a 6 hour drive, Junction City about 100 miles more, an easy one day drive if you started from the border.
We leave Vancouver mid morning and stop for the night in Medford by 8 pm.
There is a Campingworld in Burlington WA. 45 mile from Blaine that has plugins for 10-12 overnighters at the rear of the shop.
Then there is a Casino in MARYVILLE exit I-5 199
Hope this will help.
FUEL is cheaper in Bellingham than in Blaine.

Or at Exit 88, I5:

Then for dinner and entertainment(gambling) there is the Lucky Eagle Casino a few short miles away.

Don't try to stay overnight in parking lots here in Vancouver (the older one, not the new Vancouver in Canada), it's against the law.

Normally, the least expensive place to buy diesel in this area is at the Flying J in Fife, just north of Tacoma and just off I-5. It's at $2.89 tonight.
Previously, a good place was the Flying J east of Portland, but they aren't as competitive as they use to be.
As others have suggested, the casinos' parking lots are great for boondocking.

The Woodburn WalMart is the first stop for us, out of Vancouver, B.C. Then a stop at Canyonville, Oregon's 7-Feathers Casino, and next to Rolling Hills Casino near Corning, CA. We have also overnighted at the Camping World at Wilsonville, OR. Rest stops on I-5 are never in our plans, too noisy. If you need shore power all the above can provide it, except at the WalMart, and you may need to have a service done at Camping World for them to throw you a cord. The two casinos have actual RV parks on site.

I think we will stop overnight at the Cabella's in Lacey Wa., then we can do some shopping in the morning. I alsosee there is a pilot travel center just south of there that is at 2.89 for diesel. It is interesting how everyone has their favorite spots.

Dash Point State Park is tight but nice. just a bit north of Olympia. We stayed there this summer on our way back from Lincoln City Or - about 6 hours drive. then home was ~5 or so.

just north of Portland on I5 is truck stop called rebel exit 27 easy on off.
there is a rest area on 15 at about exit 13, just north of Portland.
south of Portland at the town of Brooks is a Pilot truck stop, also rest area on I5 just south of the I5 I205 merge hope this helps. On your way south I would take I205 at exit 7 instead of I5 through portland less congestion.
