If you guys think that this is the dumbest stunt ever... then you really haven't watched much of Jackass. Watch more episodes. They continually out-do themselves in this regard.

Like I said, even Johnny Knoxville thought this guy was crazy for doing this and in this same show Knoxville jumped a motorcycle straight into the air and let it fall on him causing internal injuries.

I think this is the kind of guy I would want standing with me in a alley should trouble present itself. No Fear!!!

Plenty of fear, he was just paid well. During interviews these guys never disclose how much they earn. However, after each outrageous stunt they are normally seen around town in sparkly brand new exotic cars, or purchasing a huge new estate somewhere.

Unless you have a wad of cash handy, he would NOT be the guy you want by your side in an alley.

That looks like the same guy in the video but it wasn't the same jump. He's done this more than once then. In the Jackass show he claimed it was the first time he ever did it. In that jump he hooked together with the other jumper as they were face to face. In this video the with the chute hooks up from the back.

Actually it wasn't the same guy. I guess there is more than one dumb person in the world. This is the jump that was on Jackass:

Jumping without a chute
