The main thing is to find out is, was this a voluntary turn in or did they have to go out and get it. If someone cannot make the payments do you think they are maintaining the vehicle that is what you need to worry about.
If they let you take somewhere and get it on a lift and go all over it. But I would not pay over 4500K for the Dodge and 2500K for the Ford way to many miles on those truck.
I have bought 5 cars at the repo auction and everyone of them I had to put about $800 in them before I could sell them, I have not been burned to bad so far. I change the oil, trans fluid and filter, complete brake jobs (rotors, flush the fluid and new pads) new tires and complete detail inside and out.
For that I usually make 2/4K profit, I had one that was a wash by time I got the body work done (not a body man) so from now one I do not buy anything with body damage on it.
