That is based on the f150 against the chevy and dodge half ton. I believe the cab and frame assembly on the 3/4 and 1 tons are a completely different animal. At least it was that way in 2002 when I bought my truck.

maybe the structure was intergrated into the fenders that they removed off of the Chevy. You gotta take all this BS with a grain of salt.

Ford has to put all of that up front to protect the engine...LOL....J/K

They do make a fine truck but as stated before, until they build another great engine like the 7.3 was, I'll drive my 6.6. The reason I bought GM was because they quit building the 7.3.
