I have a 1989 29' Fleetwood Terry with a leak, the trailer bottom has a heavy plastic cover. The whole bottom is covered with this, I think this is a all year trailer. There is water coming out of this plastic cover, I cant figure out where the water is coming from. Has anybody else had a similer problem, if so how did you fix it? With it all enclosed I cant see where the water is coming from. Thanks

You will have to remove the black plastic, I call it the under belly. It is like a plastic corrugated cardboard. A little bit of a pain to remove and put back but will have to be done to see where the leak is coming from and to repair the leak.

Obviously, you're gonna have to remove the plastic to expose the leak.
That said, is your fresh water pump running with all the faucets shut? Does it only leak when the tub/shower is used? Or only when certain sinks are used?
Figure on replacing the plastic sheeting, and the fiberglass insulation that's soaked. Depending on the length of time the leak has been going on, you may have wood damage also.
Get on it... .it's only gonna get worse.

Just curious, did you winterize your trailer this fall? If not, it may be a broken line or tank. Good luck...
I hope you will enjoy reading my journal about my bicycle ride, camping all the way across America at www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/dean. We also RV in our '07 Starcraft Travel Star 23QB, pulled with a good old stout Isuzu Trooper. It works
