We have space in our attic. Don't remember how much but the A/C ducts run through there, and there are several attic vents on the roof.

If you view the video of the construction process that NUWA uses; "Watch as we construct the best 5th wheel in the industry"there is a portion on one of the videos that actually shows a roof fully insulated right to the top of the wood rafters.
Not a diagram but an actual video of their build. I might be mistaken; but all I see is pink insulation which would then be covered by the reflective sheeting, plywood and rubber roof. There is no space for ventilation. They say it is a cavity for ventilation (their words) I just do not see it. And I seriously doubt the lesser built brands do more to ensure there is positive ventilation.
I believe they lay their insulation across the A/C duct side to side which would negate the so called cavity for attic ventilation.
I brought this same issue up with 2 Keystone reps at my home a couple years ago and it was like deer in the headlights; they could not give me an honest answer. Why? Because the concept is great; but there needs to be airflow to vent ANYTHING. And there is not.
There really are few options when you consider the size of the roof trusses and the amount of insulation which is being installed.

I've never seen trailer's roof opened and exposed. But I can imagine the spaces around trusses filled up with strands of fiberglass. In my opinion, that fiberglass allows flow of air though it to some extend, as it is not solid.
In my Citation Supreme there are two openings to that area, factory installed. One of them in the front is a vent allowing air in. The other opening at the back has a two speed fan installed that exausts air from the attic. Switch to it is inside of the trailer.
I turn the fan on from time to time. I know when it works as I can hear a quiet hum coming from that general area.
The main question is: Does it really do its supposed work?

GregOrn: It might work; I guess it's not something I would worry about but I would think it would act like a filter and somewhere along the line the moisture; if any, would be collecting. It actually goes against the concept of attic ventilation. But again; That is just my opinion based on what I have seen. Never one like yours though.
