Been all over several of the forums looking at the mods you guys (and gals) have added to store your WD bars. Then, wouldn't you know it, I discovered that Forest River had taken away one of my reasons for hiding out in the new Wildwood 26BHXL. There are two nice square tubes welded to the bottom of the tongue as part of the battery holder. The bars from the Equili-Z-er hitch fit perfectly. Saved alot of work and design worrys. (DW and oldest son tend to think every thing I come up wth s somewhat "red-neck").

I have an Equal-I-zer and lay the bars centered on the L bracket that is mounted to the tongue. Keeps them out of the dirt and are handy to re-install. So far they have not fallen off.

I get the same kind of grief now and then. I usually invite the nay-sayer to provide a better solution, and usually have no takers.

Camping can be done solo, ya know.

It doesn't matter to me if you don't own a Mac.
It should matter to YOU that you're still tethered to Microsoft.
