We've been RV'ing now for many years. We have a 4 place set of china and the rest of our dishes are Wal-Mart on sale whatever made of some kind of glass I guess. We have glasses and ceramic coffee mugs. All of them simply stacked and placed in the cabinets. No packing, no shelf paper, no non slip; Nada!!! In all of the years we've traveled, we haven't broken a dish or glass yet due to a rough riding RV.
Happy camping!!! See ya'll down the road!!!

Use rubber shelf liner and then cut circles to place between each stacked dish. Wedge some food staples around the sides. I use those cardboard drink carriers that you get at the burger drive thru for glasses and coffee mugs ride on their sides wrapped in a strip of shelf liner.
Put a couple of bay leaves on every shelf, in every drawer and in closets. It keeps bugs away. I have done this in my home for 35 years and have never had bugs in my cabinets, closets, drawers. Fresh bay leaves are great but dried ones do the trick too.

We use Correll dishes and plastic glasses and also the non skid liners. Our coffee cups are glass and occasionally I stick some of the shelf liner between them, but not always. No problems so far.

We have a regular set of dishes which we stack on the rubber shelf-liner. I put my plastic mixing bowls on top, add in rolls of paper towels, and have not had anything break yet.

Eating out a lot on vacation will kill your budget. In my cabinets I stick to easy to clean items and that are not breakable or not easily broken.

Another vote for the non skid shelf stuff. It also cuts down on the clanking in the RV when driving down the road.

We use regular china; we prefer it to paper plates. Shelf liner between the dishes keeps things secure. We've had stacks of bowls fall over a time or two but nothing has broken yet, with 3 months on the road last year and 6 months so far this year.
We're part-timing now, loving our cabin (fifthwheel) on the lake/at the beach/in the mountains/close to the city.

We use Corelle type dishes and real glass glasses, haven't broken any yet except when dropped on the floor by one of us. Don't use anything between them either, no need with the air suspension. Different story with our gas units with spring suspension. The best thing is to pack so stuff can't move much. Better to have a full cabinet than one partly empty.

I use the rubber non sliding mat stuff. I have a couple small peach crate type things and position them between things to help hold stuff in place.
I also put a paper towel between things that might break.
Don't carry much stuff that will break.
