One of the reasons we are here in Eugene was to get a CAT shop experienced with motorhomes to do the valve lash adjustment on my rig. Another Member kindly recommended a shop in Washington but as it turned out we couldn't do it. On the way down we also developed a leak in the coolant recovery tank so basically limped into Eugene.
So, Peterson Machinery did one heck of a job doing the recovery tank and the coolant replacement, an oil and all filters change, a valve lash adjustment, replacing the thermostat and replacing the seals on the water separator sight glass to correct a slight leak. Bob the serice writer and Marvin the Tech dealt with me and the rig professionally and let me hang around and ask questions.
As we were about to exit Peterson's our Jeep would not start and as we suspected it turned out to be the fuel pump. With Bob's and Marvin's help at 530 pm past closing they recommended Lithia Dodge in Eugene and we towed the Jeep back to Premier RV Park. Through Coachnet we had the Jeep towed to Lithia this morning and they ended up working a little past closing to get us back on the road again. Eric the service Manager did just a wonderful job getting us in and out on short notice on a Saturday.
Anyway, I believe you just have to get the good stuff out there so thought I would post this in the event it could help someone else in need.
