Our well is 35 years old and we need a new one. He said he will start on Tuesday and finish on Wednesday. Sounds great water was working but not very good. Friday afternoon no water. I got thinking, hook up the fiver to the house and power it. I shut the pump main off and left the bladder tanks in the circuit and hooked a hose to the outside faucet and with some creative plumbing to the low point drain on the fiver. Went next door and started getting water from my neighbor (1200' away). Filled the tank halfway and turned the pump on. House is pressuring up. Kept hauling water until pump was off and tank was full (110 gallons 11 gallons at a time). All is well and DW did a load of dishes and we got to flush the toilet. Would have set up shop in the fiver but do not want to use up the bottle propane when house is hooked to 500 gallon tank. Navy showers in the house tomorrow!!
