We're all sending along our best wishes for Hershey....and you guys too! We've got 8 dogs, and each is as important to us as if they were our kids....."Fur-babies"....we just love them all.
Hopefully, it's something like the flu, and he will be back on this feet in a few days....

It's sad to hear this about your guy. I'm glad that you made an appointment with the vet. Better to let him diagnose the problem. Our lab has had lower back problems that a few days on Metacam helps with. Keep us posted as to what his problem is. Take care.

So sorry Hershey isn't feeling well, he looks pretty "joyless" laying on the couch. When Sofie wasn't feeling well that's what she looked like too.
Hoping it's just the flu and nothing more serious, keep us posted.

Hershey sounds like my Max was doing a year ago. I discovered that he had Lymes disease and it was treated successfully with antibiotics. Max was very lethargic and began picking away at his food and he lost a LOT of weight before we got wise to it. If it is Lymes...it is very treatable and they respond pretty much immediately.
Good luck with your pal. I have always enjoyed your photos and know that you two are close. Take care of each other.
Prayers for the doc to find the right thing first off being offered for you both.
