Was wondering if they made these as I have not seen one. I am planning on trading in my 05 F250 SB when the new 2011's come out but was wondering if an F350 Short Bed is available or an option. Do they have to be special ordered? Will need to upgrade but don't want a dually nor an F350 Longbed.

They appear to be available based on the recent past years, but Im not sure what you get over the F250.
You might want to visit the parts department and ask about the spring packs for the F250 and F350 SRW and verify if they are actually different. Or go to a lot and count leafs - see if there is any difference.
On edit/update:
Found this. You want more truck you will have to go with a dually.

Yes they're available. I'm surprized you've never seen one, around here the short bed (6'9") is probably 10x more common than the long bed (8').
For the small difference in price I would go with the 350 every time.

Sure haven't seen one but will be looking into acquiring one next year. I know this question has been asked many times but I haven't seen a straight answer, and maybe there isn't one but I'll ask it anyway. What's the true difference between the f250 and f350 other than the badges and the rear block? Rearend? Springs? Axle? etc. Seems I'm exceeding my GVWR when towing my 5er with the F250 I have.

I hate to not be more direct, but you should check Ford's builder's guides. They outline all the specs, for aftermarket companies, ambulance companies, etc. A lot of people don't know the differences but figure there must be more than there are. It's best to read the specs yourself and see if there are any differences that are relevant to your needs.

Oh, too, if you have any questions about the builders guide I've been through it front and back, back and front, left and right and right and left. I've got a copy of the 2005 and 2008.

While SRW F350 short beds 6 3/4' are still available, the DRW shorty, I believe was stopped in 2007 or 2008.

Why can't you get 3.73 or 4.10 gears with a SRW anymore?
