Does your Seneca HD have a LP gauge on the inside of the unit or jsut on the tank itself?

Mine is just on the tank. Would love to have one
inside.

Weird. I just bought a Seneca that has no gauge in either place. Seneca "forgot" to put one on the tank itself. How do you forget to do something like that? Talk about poor quality control.

I kind of assumed the unit would have a gauge on the inside panel as well, isn't this normal for RV's?

Another question - I have a 1800 watt inverter. only the microwave and front tv are hooked up to it. Sholdn't all outlets be connected to it?

Ian, if your purchased your Seneca used, did someone replace the LPG
tank? I find if hard to believe that Jayco would have "forgot" to
put a gauge on it. As far as a gauge inside being normal, I don't
know. I have owned motorhomes with it inside and of course now one
without one inside. I was told before I purchased my Seneca that
the gauge was only on the tank.

As for the inverter, I believe mine also is only connected to the TV and Microwave. That is probably to save battery draining. I'm not
sure since I rarely, if ever, need the inverter.

Bought it new. It basically went straight back to a dealers repair shop with a laundry list of repair items. I love the rig but Jayco really needs to invest in better quality control. It reminds me of a 1970's American car versus a Honda in terms of little quality issues.

I ordered my Seneca from factory, through dealer, and it was delivered 2/25/08 so will be two years old in Feb. I believe I have only been back to dealer for warranty work two, maybe three times in this two years. Guess I am lucky. I, too, love my unit and have mostly done all repairs myself which were very minor. I presently have just about 25,000 miles on my unit.

You were lucky. Yours must not have been built on a Monday or Friday. I did most of the repairs on mine also but should they really need that much repair ? Their QC Dept.(if they actually have one)missed waaaay too many blatantly obvious problems on mine. Other than Jayco's total lack of quality, I like mine also.
Mine has the gage on the tank. I have not seen many small tanks like these that have the sending unit on the tank with an interior gage.

Hopefully once I get my initial issues repaired it will be smooth sailing. BTW have any of you ever reached to Jayco factory tech support? I have left messages with the lady that answers the phone but have never received a return call or any response whatsoever.
