We've only been there a couple times, but never found an RV park in Key West. We stayed on Marathon Key and drove the toad to Key West. Then we found a parking area and took a shuttle to the downtown area where we walked to wherever we wanted to go. I don't think I'd want to drive around Key West even if there were any RV parks there.......too congested, and roads too narrow.

Made my Christmas reservation yesterday. I'm hoping to be able to boat to Key West in my inflatable. Kind of pricey, but I hope it is worth it.

We've stayed at the Sugarloaf Key KOA. Pretty much the standard KOA. Probably 30-45 minutes from Key West. Be prepared to pay a LOT if you are going during the winter season. No matter where you stay.

Check RV Park Reviews http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Florida/Key_West.html
Bring a large wallet for anywhere in the keys, and the closer to Key West the more expensive.
Enjoy,

We stayed at Boyd's last year and loved it. There are no CG's closer than MM 5. We had originally booked at Leo's but got cold feet from the reviews. While we were ther we drove by Leo's and it looked like a Nascar race. (Awnings almost touching the coach next to it.) Boyds is pricey but IMO worth it. Don't waste the money on waterfront...as most sites are waterview. Bring your bikes! It's the easiest way to get around Duval St.

Ditto on this one. Boyds is the only viable option (IMO) in Key West. It is actually located on Stock Island in a not so nice neighborhood, but the park is very nice. Great pool, water access and just a 40 minute ride to Duval St. Bob is very particular about park upkeep and security. Full time security from dusk till dawn. It is pricey, but everything is in Key west. We have been there 5 winters and are headed back right after Christmas.

Make reservations NOW! It will likely be close to sold out. All rv parks start at about $100 a night and go up from there.

If military there are other options.
