This is my video. Airing the tires down wasn't even close to working. If you want more info, let me know.

Can you advise how many inches of clearance that gave you? I'm skeptical it will work for me with a lifft kit and double bunks.

I have double bunks and a 6 inch All Sports lift and tires on my cart. I gained about 4 inches of clearance. Now the roof just barely fits inder the bunks. Just enough to clear. When I get home this afternoon, I will measure it exactly and let you know for sure.

Did you ever get the chance to measure? I'd like to do this mod soon.
Thanks!

Any luck measuring? Looks like I'll need 6-7" of drop from the mod. Did it give you that?

Has anyone else done this mod? I'm thinking it won't give me what I need and may just do a quick disconnect and pull the roof for traveling. I never heard back from Reveye.

I seen a mod on one of the ATV/SXS sites where they find the areas of the roof supports/legs/stand pipes that are straight for a couple inches, then they take a pipe cutter and cut around all roof support/stand pipes.
Then take a piece of pipe/tubing that just fits inside the OEM tubing, drill a couple of holes in the OEM stand pipe and rose bud weld this short section of pipe to the OEM tubing, (making a reducer to fit inside the roof section of the OEM pipes). Then refit the roof onto the stand pipes and drill 1 hole thru each stand pipe/leg for hitch pins to secure the roof on, Clean everything and paint the worked on areas.
When they need to load the SXS into a TH with roof clearance issues, they just slide off the top and lay it inside the back box, load SXS, then off load at their site, pop the roof legs/stand pipes into the protuding studs, insert the hitch pins and off they go.
I am sure this will work for the Golf cart crowd also, might be worth the effort to look at your GC to see if it would work.
