Weighed my new truck today.
Full fuel, no passengers, has B&W turnover ball installed.

Weighs about 250lbs more than my 06 did.

I will hook up my trailer next and get that weighed with the new truck. Doubt anything will change from the last one, but I like to know.

So you dont have a standard 5th wheel hitch? Whats the benefit witj the ball?

Congrats on the new rig.

BTW, just to bust your balls a little, why not the 450?

I have the companion hitch that works with the turnover ball. I can tow a gooseneck trailer or a 5th wheel with this setup.

The new 450 is lame IMO. It is no better than my 06 was. All it has over my new F350 is 4.30 gears and the wide track front end. Brakes are just slightly larger than my 350.
All you get with the 450 is 3000lbs more in GCWR. Same GVWR between the 2 trucks.
I couldn't justify the $3000 price increase or the high yearly tags on the plates here in AZ.

Thanks dedmiston. How about some instructions on how you did that?

Congratulations on the new truck. I agree that the 450 doesn't offer much over the 350. In fact I personally would say the 4.30 are a disadvantage. So what is the weight of your new truck?

It may be easier for you to just type out the weight numbers instead of trying to figure out how to post a pic of the scale ticket....
