Had a blowout with the fifth wheel two years ago. They responded promptly and took care of the situration. I have had good experiences with them. Just tell them that it is an RV so they know what to send.

AAA is NOT the RVers friend......AAA is NOT a nationwide company, with the same rules throughout the US and Canada. In the US, AAA is a loose group of 51 individual regional companies, operating under the name of AAA. Each plays by their own rules and most do NOT have a RV+ plan and do NOT honor the regions that do. They may work in your home area, but if you travel outside that region, you may be left on the side of the road searching for your own help and paying the bill yourself. No thanks, not what I want.

No AAA RV coverage offered in MA. Don't know what would happen if you had a breakdown here.

Same thing here in north east Ohio. I would go with either GS or Coachnet. I had mixed results with GS. Once with a flat that was changed promptly and once where they left me on the side of the road to fend for myself. Now with Coachnet but haven't needed help.

AAA is more oriented towards cars and trucks. They do not automatically know the differences between those vehicles and RVs of all stripes.

On the other hand, they have a great mapping service that can be had from any computer terminal, that has the best database out there. I wish they had better competition so they would improve more, but despite what you will read in posts after this one no other provider comes close.

As far as other RV services go, you will need to confer with their customer service. I have TH and use to have TT. When I got hit I THINK they dragged both the trailer and my truck to the shop and hotel. I say I think because I cannot remember whether AAA did that or the driver who hit us' grandfather, paid for the tow.

You will need to ask questions about whether they offer the package you want or not and whether it is available where you need it. The same is true of other providers.

AAA on our cars has been well worth the money.

I had AAA for 12 years and never used them a single time. I was in Oregon when I had a flat on my boat trailer and then I found my spare was near flat. It was late at night and I was in the middle of nowhere. I called AAA and they were all ready to send someone out until I happened to mention the flat was on the boat trailer. At this point the entire conversation changed. It seemed that I was not covered for flats on anything except the vehicle I was driving. I was told I should have added some RV rider or some such thing to my policy. Instead of telling me this and coming and rescuing me and my family they refused to do a thing and left me. I in turn left them.
